Hen Cam
I like checking out this website from time to time to watch the chickens since I can't sit outside with mine in the winter and watch them. I was happy to see eggs this time that are hatching in about 2 days! :o) They are actually wobbling around a little bit too.

Bear!

While in Utah we went to a Sportsman's store looking for a souvenier for the boys and they had a bear exhibit there with live baby bears. I was so excited I told Mike "I just have to hold one of those babies!" In order to hold one you had to pay for the picture so that's what we did and I held my bear. She was sleeping which was probably good because the others that were awake were pretty fiesty. :o) She also had her nails painted pink but that doesn't show in the picture. I asked them why the heck they would paint her nails and they said it was so they could tell she and her sister apart. LOL

Dinner in Vegas

We had a night out with Mike's Boss and a few of the other employees and their wives while in Vegas and had a great time! I didn't really enjoy the seafood appetizer (the heads were still on the shrimp and oysters just aren't for me) but had a margarita AND some wine and that made up for it. Afterwards we went to the Danny Ganz show and he was quite good! :o)

(Mike hated this pic of himself...he said "Omg, I look like a fat Porky Pig!") LOL

Mom's

To get into where my Mom's home is (in the mountains) my Step-Dad has to pick us up in this lovely thing. It goes a whole 18 miles per hour in the snow but is pretty cool!

Mike Rowe!

I was super excited to see Mike Rowe in Vegas. Mike thought I was crazy but let me take a bunch of pictures of him anyway. :o) He was talking about some equipment for a company called "Terrex". I don't remember what he said though, I wasn't really listening. LOL

Bundled up

Jack loves to help Daddy plow and wanted to play in the snow today. Here is a pic of him all bundled up....I thought he looked so cute! (His coat was in the washer so he's wearing a couple of jackets LOL)

Fun cookies!

Last night we baked cookies and I made all the kids help me. Micah didn't want to but I hauled her out of her room and told her to join in with decorating. We had fun and lookie the cute cookies! (Bet you can't guess which one Jack did LOL)
This was just the start, there were many more. :o)

Egg
Colby gathered eggs yesterday and was very excited there was this wee little tiny one. It's like the size of a quarter! I asked people in my chicken group why we would get such a tiny egg and one guy said that chickens' ovulation sometimes goes whacky.....you either get a tiny one like this or a double yolk. I always wanted a double yolk!
I learn something new every day. LOL

Sensitive Boy

I never knew Jack was so sensitive. He's been enjoying watching clips from movies on Youtube lately and I put on a scene from Disney's The Fox and the Hound which was titled "so sad". It was the part where the Granny takes Todd in the woods, takes off his collar and sets him free. I wasn't really paying attention to Jack for a minute but when the video was almost over I looked over at him and he had a pouty face and tears rolling down his cheeks. I felt so sorry for him! I had to explain to him that this wasn't the end of the movie and that the Fox actually gets to go back and live with the Granny. Now Jack keeps asking me if I'm sure the "Miya doggie" (he calls the fox that since he looks like an orange version of Miya) really gets to go back to his Grandma. LOL I'm taking him today in hopes of renting the movie so he will understand. Ugh, Disney movies!!!
