Thanksgiving

Each year I make Thanksgiving dinner whether I host it or not and I made it this year about a week after. The dinner turned out great and we even ate it in the dining room and with the good china. :o) (Doesn't it look great with that bottle of 7-Up on the table? LOL) Too bad the atmosphere wasn't as nice. The kids fought the entire dinner and Mike was tired and ornery. As you can see, I couldn't get a good picture and this one was the best! Jack speared his roll with his fork and Colby looks stoned. *sigh* Hey, I tried! At least the food was good.....we had a turkey, stuffing, candied yams, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberries, green bean casserole and rolls. For dessert I made a pumpkin pie. Yum!

Dance

I do a little dance with Bunny and Riley couldn't believe how *tall* she was when I danced with her last night so he took these pics. I was shocked myself!

Snow!

Ok so, I'm not that into the snow but I did crack a smile watching the boys enjoy it! Jack sat with Miya and stared out the window for a good half hour, then asked Daddy when they could build a snowman. :o) I told him we could ride sleds when A LOT of snow comes and he was so excited.

Bunny

Here is Bunny enjoying her new toy. :o) She has her own little basket and gets her toys out one by one to play with when she's bored. This pelican toy is her current favorite. LOL

Before and After

Here, I am putting a before pic of Deb and her baby and also one of how they are now. The cute little chick is now HUGE and a rooster. Darn it! I didn't need another rooster but I guess that's how it goes. Now if only he'll get along with Mac, Riley's Silky rooster or one of them will have to go. :o(
In the second pic, the baby chick is the big ugly one on the right (LOL) and Mama is the little brown one on the left.

Friend

This is going to be a stupid blog but I just had to do it anyway so I can look back one day and remember how nice a friend Riley was. :o)

This morning I was helping the kids make their lunches when I told Riley he could open the new chips if he wanted to. He stood there holding them debating and then said "here's the thing Mom. I want to have these chips but every day Ian has been bringing crunchy Cheetos in his lunch and he can't eat them or they'll break his fillings. He doesn't have the heart to tell his Mom so I just trade with him." Basically, Riley didn't want to trade with Ian everyday but was anyway. It may be JUST chips but for God's sake, to me that's nice of him!

I made him pose for a pic with his chips and he hated every minute of it since he thinks I'm so stupid. We put two bags of chips in his lunch so he could give one to Ian too. :o) Now I need to get off my blogging ass and take the lunch too him WITH said chips since he forgot it.

LOL I think I'm extra sentimental lately. :o) Who would blog about this but me? (I also know that Ian is probably lying and just doesn't like his cheetos and Riley falls for it. I won't tell him that though!)

Riley and Colby

Here are the boys in their new Steelers shirts. They put them right on even before I could wash them and wore them to school. Luckily, half their school likes the Steelers and nobody said one word to them!
Gosh, after looking at this picture I'm realizing they both could probably use a haircut!

Wish Books

Do you remember as a child, getting the Sears wish book around Christmas time or any other toy catalog? We got two Sears wish books yesterday and Jack has spent most of today going through them and putting stickers on items he wants. He doesn't understand what Christmas is yet but he'll say "I WANT THAT FOR MY BIRTHDAY!" :o) I think he wants at least two things on each page (LOL good luck Jack) including a kitchen set with a coffee maker so he can make coffee. Cute.

I loved looking at those catalogs when I was a kid too!
