We had fun at the "pumpkin patch" as Jack called it!

Mike got in on the playing action and even rolled down the hill in a giant tube. Here are a few pics. :o)

I have been at my wits end trying to convince Jack that it's a good thing to use the potty! Every time I ask him if today's the day he's going to be a big boy and use the potty he'll tell me "I ardy did use the potty!" (He has gone in the potty before and apparently thinks he's done now.)

Today we went to the book store and bought some books that he can relate too and understand and I hope this will help him along. We also got a book called "The Kissing Hand" to help him with his separation anxiety.

Here he is concentrating on his new books. I read him all three and then asked him if he wanted to give his potty a try and he said "I ARDY DID!" *sigh* I'm sure he'll learn one day though! He has to! LOL

Colby had an assignment to do on Indians and had two weeks to do it. Well, he waited until he had only 1 week left before telling us about it and had no ambition whatsoever to do a good job. I finally told him that if he buckled down and tried hard instead of just doing a hodge podge job, I'd make him a deal. The deal was, get a B or better and I'd buy him the 2008 Guiness Book of World Records he's been begging for. (I normally don't bribe the kids on their homework but this kid is going to be the death of me!!!)

Well, all was said and done and he actually brought home an A+! I was so proud of him!

Jack really wanted to be a puppy for Halloween so awhile back, I asked Grandma Violet if she could make him a cute costume. This is what she made! He loves it and wants to wear it all the time and shake his ears! :o) Maybe for trick or treating I'll paint his nose black and put dots on his cheeks. :o)

Lexi is still having fun with her camera. These are pics she took of Micah, Jack and Mike that are pretty cool. Well, ok, Mike's looks pretty scary! I'm glad there wasn't one of me!

Jack had his birthday party today at Grandma's house. He had a cake with a race track on it and a bunch of cars racing! (Silly Mommy forgot her camera though so we don't have a pic of it!) He had a great time and got some fun presents. Here he is at home playing with some of his new things. :o)

My little baby will be 3 on October 5th!!! The time has gone by so fast...it seems like just yesterday he was a tiny preemie. No longer a baby though he is my little boy. :o) I asked him yesterday if he was a baby still or my big boy and he said "I tiny Mama". He still likes me to carry him so will tell me he's tiny when I tell him he's too big to carry. LOL

I wish he would stay tiny just awhile longer but he will always be the baby. :o)
